VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES at:

Anger Wranglers Anger Management:
Help facilitate anger management course for children ages 7-9.

Community Awareness & Speaker’s Bureau:
Promote and represent Family Guidance & Outreach Center programs and services to businesses and organizations. Help work our booth at health fairs and exhibits.

Fun Lunch Bunch Mentor:
Be a mentor to a teen mother by facilitating a small group of LISD New Directions School students. Groups meet every Wednesday from Noon-1:00 p.m. at Matthews Alternative School (September through May only).

Office Coverage/Clerical Duties:
Answer telephones, perform assorted clerical duties, and assist with program preparation.

Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Education:
Assist with presentations for groups on SBS and how to cope with a crying baby.

Special Projects:
Help out with fundraisers--including our annual Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show--and on-going activities throughout the year.
