OUR MISSION
The Family Guidance Center of Lubbock is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child
abuse and neglect and supporting, mentoring and educating parents. Founded as a volunteer organization in 1981, the Family Guidance Center has grown to provide additional services to the community such as educational programs for parents, children and teens. Our office is located in Lubbock, Texas the home of Texas Tech University.
FAMILY GUIDANCE AND OUTREACH CENTER STAFF
Lynnette Wilson
Executive Director
Ms. Wilson has been with the agency since its inception as a volunteer caseworker, fundraiser, and supporter/participant of all programs. Now, as Executive Director, she has oversight of all programs, staff, public relations and budget management.
Jill Aleman
Program Director
Ms. Aleman administers programs that include: Anger Wranglers Anger Management for Children, New Directions Fun Lunch Bunch for Teens, and the Shaken Baby Education and Prevention Program. She also coordinates Community Awareness Events and Volunteer Training Opportunities.
Rachel Clark
Parenting Center and Office Coordinator
Mrs. Clark coordinates the Family Guidance parenting classes, is responsible for clerical duties, and oversees office volunteers.
Ami E. Hill-Rendon
Event Coordinator, 2009 Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show
Ms. Hill-Rendon, three-time volunteer chairperson of the Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show, brings her considerable experience and expertise to coordinating the 2009 event.
Brooke A. Garth
Office Administrator/Assistant to the Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show Coordinator
Ms. Garth performs clerical duties around the office and assists Ms. Hill-Rendon with coordinating the 2009 Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike Show.
